Getting around in our Womenstown involved nogociating a maze of paths and walls through seas of mud in which a wide variety of tents had been plonked with painstaking precision. Fortunately there was a map and some of the tents were correctly identified on it. There's no doubt pedestrian access was an afterthought. Some areas were walled off and while this may have been a coincidental historical remnant at times it seemed like mini neibourhoods had been created to 'contain' the women in case they became overly excited. There would be no outbreaks of feminist militancy here!
